US Dollars |
|
Despite all the uncertainty in the world at this time,
the results of the February 14, 2003 sale were remarkable. Long haired
goods saw tremendous advances over December's levels. As well, beaver
advanced 15%. The strong position taken by Greece and the attendance of
new Russian accounts drove this much needed advancement.
Otter advanced 45% due to strong competition from new players hungry for
this item.
Lynx and Lynx Cat realized the highest increases with both items advancing
90% thanks to the position taken by Greece and Italy.

increasing 20%-25% depending on the grade over February 2002 levels. Pale

X-pale colours. Darks continue to struggle. Italy, New York, and Canada
were the biggest takers with strong competition from Japan and China.
Ranch shadow sold well at recent international levels,
while ranch blue fox saw selective demand.
Ranch Cross Fox: Excellent demand Top $105.00 USD
Ranch Red Fox: Strong demand Top $84.00 USD
