SALE DECEMBER 15, 2002
Canadian Dollars
Competition was very keen throughout yesterday's auction and interest in wild fur remains very strong. Higher levels for Coyote, Lynx, Red Fox, Otter and Beaver were established during the sale, as demand for these types of skins becomes more and more widespread. All other varieties remained firm to slightly higher. The anticipated decline in the beaver did not materialize with prices actually increasing 10% to 20% over June's levels.

Our next auction will be held February 14, 2003, in Seattle, Washington, with the last receiving date being January 11, 2003 in North Bay.
